Their plan is prepared in consultation with residents, businesses and other stakeholders.
As you will see, in the review of the Local Plan, Rugby Borough Council sets out planning policies and proposals for new development to make sure the Rugby borough is a great place to live, work and do business - except of course if you happen to live in Ansty!
The Local Plan defines many things, including: which land can be used to provide employment - eg FRASER GROUP'S HQ
HOWEVER, IN THE OPINION OF WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCILLOR, ADRIAN WARWICK, THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL STATISTICS BELIEVES THAT WARWICKSHIRE ALREADY HAS FULL EMPLOYMENT AND THEREFORE THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT FOR ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT LAND.
It's no coincidence that the review specifies 8 areas as employment land, all of which are in GREEN BELT - including, top of their list, 'LAND NORTH OF M6 Jn2' - IN OTHER WORDS, CROWNER FIELDS FARM & HOME FARM - the land currently being purchased on behalf of Fraser Group for their proposed HQ.
Interestingly, not one BROWN FIELD site has been identified/proposed!

This website has been compiled by residents of Ansty for the long term benefit of the whole community of Ansty and the surrounding villages. Our sole purpose is to ensure that the Green Belts surrounding our villages are protected for all of us, now and for future generations to come.
Green belts are a buffer between towns, and between town and countryside. Frasers say Ansty isn’t a town, it’s just a village so doesn’t count but the Green Belt designation is a planning tool and the aim of Green Belt policy is to prevent urban sprawl by keeping land permanently open. If Fraser Group succeed in their planning application we will lose our Green Belt buffer FOREVER.
If we are to win this battle to keep our Green Belt land then you must act now! There is no time to lose, you only have up to 2nd February to make your voice heard.
your vote can help STOP this industrial blot on our Green Belt landscape
